Has it always been called food allergy awareness week?For some reason I was thinking it was anaphylaxis awareness week??

No I think it was always FAAW (I kind of remeber the acronoym).

I know it was Food Allergy Awareness Week last year.

Yes, I sent an email to our principal today and he's given me the go-ahead to do a fundraiser! ayahoo

Lookin' forward to it.

Our school is onto it! jay

Competition ~ entry by gold coin donation.
Kindy to year 2 are colouring in a picture of an ambulance.
Years 3 to 7 are completing a Find A Word puzzle I made up, using words relating to anaphylaxis.

Our fundraiser was mentioned in the newsletter last week letsgo

and also at school assembly today! star_s

I contacted Coles & Woolies, plus two local newsagents who've all come to the party and provided great prizes for the kids to choose from.

Emailed the local newspaper today to see if they would like to do a story on it. worthy

Call me a stick in the mud, but it SHOULD be called Anaphylaxis Awareness, or they should add one called Ana Awareness. Food Allergies are so much more than Ana so ok, I can see it's place. But as we found out the hard way, you don't only have allergies, ana allergies, to food!
