Hope xmas1 was good to you all and you're not suffering too many ill-effects from over-indulging xmas4

I got a wok for Christmas and want to really get into the Asian cooking so was wondering if anyone could tell me the best replacement for peanut oil. I normally use vegetable oil in cooking but was wanting to get as close as possible to the ingredient required. Hope this makes sense!

Thanks,

Trine

Thanks Kerrin. Hubby said to not cook the recipes with peanut oil but I think that would be about 85% of my new 'Cooking with a Wok Bible'. We'd miss out on some good recipes "fry

Good question... as we can't use peanut nor sesame oil!!! 5doh
I know our local Chinese restaurant uses Canola.
They use sesame oil to add flavour to specific dishes...
